Can anyone recommend any 3 bedroom apartments or 2 bedrooms with a den or other kind of additional nook / semi-private office space for <$1200 per month anywhere in Triangle?
Need a safe location and pets (3 including dog) allowed. Walkable or greenway access to any of the downtowns would be ideal, but not required. Or just near a park would be good

will also consider only 2 bedrooms if they are very nice!

I think you're going to have a hard time finding 3 bedrooms for $1200/month. 3 pets makes it REALLY hard.

I assume you're working from home?

YES work from home, that's why was hoping for a den / semi private space. Can work from living room if in 2 bedroom. Was interested in Parke at Trinity since they have 2 beds with den, but neighborhood seems sketchy?

I don't know enough about that area to give you a good answer, but 2 is the maximum number of pets. Also note that there are dog breeds that aren't allowed.

In my multiple decades as a renter, I learned that money talks when it comes to pets, especially if you have just the one dog. Talk to the office staff; they will likely require a larger pet deposit and/or monthly pet rent, but you'll probably be okay with the 3.

The neighborhood around the Parke at Trinity isn’t sketchy.

My sister lives in those apartments across Trinity from there - on Corporate Center Dr - and there was a little nook when you walked in that she used for an office. I don’t know what the rent was and that’s a few years ago.

I used to live at Colonial Grand at Trinity Commons (the one across Trinity that twingles mentioned). They have 2br with a small office space, but they start at $1300.

One thing to keep in mind about that area ... it's spitting distance to PNC, Carter Finley, and the State Fairgrounds. Which means often dealing with heavy traffic during concerts, Canes/Wolfpack games, and the 10 days of the State Fair.

There were also some 3-br in South Durham that were dog-friendly and in your budget. That's from Apartments.com not my experience.
