Decided to try the Amazon 2-hr Prime delivery for Whole Foods, as I've never done that. I don't regularly shop at WF.

I put in my order late last night and selected a 2-hr window for today.

How convenient. 1 item wasn't available & I had specified not to substitute; everything else was available.

They were right on time, communication throughout the process was excellent, including when they had started shopping for my order.

It won't be a regular thing, but for what I needed, Whole Foods had the items, at a good price, and I'm happy not to have to schlep those items home.

2 thumbs up!

Agree it's pretty convenient. We don't use it regularly but when it's a busy week and I can't make it to the store, we will order from them. In fact some of the items are cheaper at WF than at Publix.

I know many don't like the big corps, but Amazon can't do wrong. They're the Chick-Fil-A of retail.

We tried it during the pandemic and really liked it. We too were not usually Whole Foods shoppers however I found that they had lots of the things that I buy at another store and they were actually priced lower!! So now I usually place an order every 2 to 4 weeks for these things and so far we have had no issues. It's been a great service!

Wonder how pricing compares to doing Instacart from a normally cheaper grocery store

Not sure.

The items I wanted had a wider array of choices at W.F. than other stores, and since I'm an AMZN prime member already, and I wasn't paying another fee for delivery, it made sense.

It was a lifesaver for me when I started drinking the goop for the purge for my colonoscopy one year and realized I was on my last roll of toilet paper. I definitely wasn't going to risk leaving the house, so I ordered prime and a couple hours later, my important papers were delivered in the nick of time!

That's not the reason, but I installed a hand-held bidet in each bathroom in 2019. Excellent to have.

OT: Had those on our toilets in Indo. Loved em. Preferred method, if you will.

Water was too cold in MA to use it (we installed one because we used cloth diapers)
