Has anyone else had the experience of walking the trails at the art museum, but missing some of the trails? We kept looking at the map but we completely missed one circular brown trail that was supposed to have a few pieces of art. We connected up with the greenway briefly. That was cool, if you had a bike.

Are you talking about the one with the cloud chamber? I know that was closed for renovations at some point last year so maybe it's still closed

One entrance to the cloud chamber area is still closed as it is unsafe but you can get in another way. The cloud chamber will be closed at some point as it is getting a new roof.

Now I have to find the cloud chamber! There is a path that is a circle. Don't know how we missed it.

Hope the access is open! It's honestly my favorite place in that park, off the beaten path. It's been a while since I've been there

My family just started exploring NCMA last yr after living here for over a decade. We walked the trails twice already. It's pretty good experience. But don't do it after getting dark. I was a little bit nervous when my kid disappeared from my sight.

I can't find things in the day. Can't imagine at night. Thanks for the tip.

Did you manage to find all the connecting trails? I must have missed a sign or something.

No.
Many local parks and trails have very confusing maps and they are lack of signs for sure.. The government still have a lot of work to do. I carry my cellphone with me and use GPS or google map to help me find ways when I get lost. That sounds weird but it's true.

Signage for the Raleigh Greenways is better than it once was, although that's not saying much. There is an app for iPhone and perhaps Android too.

We've been having an on-going conversation about that, how do you feel the signage could be improved?
