Has anyone heard of local artist Amber Share and her website for Subpar parks? It's hilarious. I picked up a few of her postcards but she does a book, calendars and other stuff.

We bought the book a few months ago. It's awesome. Plus you get to find out about a lot of parks!

Yes, I love it! She's done some NC state parks as well as the national parks (Umstead: All That's There Are Trees)

I bought the book .. and I've spent a fair amount of time in many of the Parks. Maybe my overactive left brain, but the first time I read the book I wasn't all that impressed. I recently read it again after spending a couple of weeks in Utah and Arizona NPs and I liked it a bit more. I think you need to approach it with a certain mindset .... which I appear to lack.

It's art not literature. Maybe she can turn your post into a new line of products.

I’d disagree about it being an “art” book. Sure, Amber is an decent illustrator but the book claims to be a hilarious juxtaposition of Amber’s work and one star reviews. I can appreciate her work, but I found the reviews (which are not Amber’s work, but she chose them) to be more stupid than actually funny.
Jmho,
Frank

I've reported your post to the mods for no sense of humor.

Just kidding, maybe.
