Doubt this lasts . Putting a good ol chicken place in snotty high priced chapel hill sounds like a bad business plan . Folks in chapel hill only eat sushi and foods you can’t pronounce ! I’ll try it though next time I’m in chapel hill and it’s open .
Dispensing derogatory, unfounded statements like this and calling another commenter "autistic" are the sort of things that make it difficult for many of us to think you're adding to the conversations here on City-Data.
I do hope you enjoy Cane's if and when you do visit it and refrain from putting down things unrelated to its food, including your fellow clientele.

Grow a bit thicker skin. Chapel hill is a wealthy area . Poking fun at that and no particular person is alright . I mean all I said is snotty chapel hill? And made fun of typical upper middle class restaurants . No harm no foul. Calling someone autistic though is not right . I agree .I enjoy chapel hill when I visit all the time , nothing wrong with it .
Oh and I love sushi btw! I ordered 36 pieces of sushi last time I went out and lo mein. I was hungry .

Not really. It kind of goes against the grain of being neighborly on this forum. What you are saying is not really "poking fun" but crass.
There's no need to be derogatory. Your comments in several threads as of late on here are becoming a bit brash.
Well, they have long been known as the Wine and Cheese crowd, so there is some history there.
UNC has been called that, not Chapel Hill itself. And the rest of his commentary was unnecessary. There's some history here of Muslim12 denigrating people, including calling one poster autistic in an entry that the moderators thankfully removed, and I'd like that to stop so we can have constructive, helpful discussions on here instead.

Incidentally, the foodie website Thrillist in 2020 ranked Cane's as having the best chicken tenders and the third best dipping sauce among national fast food restaurants.
I love Raising Cane’s but their expansion strategy is awful by focusing on squarely college areas. I’ve gone to their stand alone locations in Denver and Louisville and can attest a limited parking dynamic will make the joint a nightmare people may not want to endear themselves to.
I’ll even exclaim that I’m jealous and want them to get closer to Charlotte.

Apart from the incidence of calling someone autistic I think it’s a bit unfair to say I have been crass. I mean some people in here denigrate rural areas . Other day Smithfield was lambasted as a backwards racist hick place. It’s a two way street, I poked mostly harmless fun at a rather upper middle class area ( which chapel hill is ) and not in a demeaning way either . Versus painting an entire region as being inhabited by backward hicks .

CH native here (really, we do exist, and more likely to find than a leprechaun riding a unicorn) and I'm having a good laugh at the snooty food comment. Besides Time Out, I'll add (RIP) Hector's and the Rathskeller.
