I've only ever used MyEyeDr while in the Triangle...the fact that they are written off as expensive in the OP has me wanting to explore other options. My only other experience (pre-Triangle) was Lenscrafters. My vision insurance covers I think $200 for frames...I'll check out some of the recs in this thread. No Costco membership though...

LOL….when I said my eye doctor, I didn’t mean MyEyeDr. But, that was an honest mistake. I go to the Eye Care Center.
