Recommended rheumatologist for AS (ankylosing spondylitis)? (Raleigh, Durham: association, area, physician)

Anybody know of a rheumatologist in the triangle area who specializes in, or at least is very knowledgeable about, AS (ankylosing spondylitis)?

Would greatly appreciate any suggestions!

I can't help with a specific physician, but I fully understand the need for specificity when treating autoimmune disorders..

The national AS Association has online support groups, Facebook and forums. They also have in-person support groups, one of which is in Raleigh/Durham (next meeting is March 20 via zoom). The leaders of the local group have included their personal email addresses on the website.

I'm confident that you'll get some good recommendations from reaching out to those resouces.
