Some people swear by local honey. Couldn't hurt.

My eyes feel itchy today. The index is pretty high. I'm clearly aware of the season is here.

I have a shed to paint. Any thoughts when the pollening will be over so I can plan to start? Another couple of weeks?

Either go ahead and do it now or give it awhile. After the pollen comes the drop season when the pine thingies drop and the oak tassels drop. I would think that would be more of a headache with painting than pollen would be.

Starting a bit more here at my house in Chapel Hill. The warmer weather makes it go.

My home has more oak trees than pine trees, but the driveway had a good amount of yellow pollen while I was blowing it after cutting my grass today.

Could be my imagination but driving down 540 East this morning, it looked a bit hazy. Like pollen coming off the pine trees.

I still don't think we have peaked yet, but it's getting up there!

Same thing on NC55 going through Holly Springs yesterday.
Looked like yellow smoke.
