Hi

I moved recently to the Triangle area, and am wondering from where I can take some nice pictures of "Raleigh Skyline"!

For example, like this.

Thank you.

You can take some good pics from Boylan Bridge.

Plenty of parking on the adjacent side streets on the Boylan Heights side

9th floor of The Dillon building is another good spot (accessible to the public from the elevator by Barcelona Wine Bar until 6 PM)

Surprisingly, heading Southbound on Wake Forest Rd. starting at Albans Dr. there is a growing view.

Or, go to North Hills and try to get as high (in elevation) as you can in any building or parking garage, etc.

Dorothea Dix park has a good view, and neighborhoods directly East of downtown have a nice view.

At night I like the view from I-40 at the Person St. exit though it's difficult to find a place to stop to get a shot of the very colorful downtown.

This was going to be my recommendation as well. Specifically, here: https://www.google.com/maps/@35.7693...7i13312!8i6656

Pretty sure there are good spots on Lake Wheeler as it approaches Western from the South. I'm not sure of the crossroad, but it's between 40 and Western.

Another one is on Wilmington Street, where the greenway crosses (very near the old water plant).

Sorry I don't have better specifics, I'm usually on my bike and JRA (just riding around), and these two locations always produce a good view.

#1 is the aforementioned Boylan Bridge

Another great one, IIRC is from the parking deck behind the NC Government Buildings. Again, I don't have a better description. This one is also "in" the skyline, so it does not have the same perspective as being further away.

Duke Raleigh Hospital has a parking garage at the corner of Wake Forest Road and Navaho Drive that would probably provide a nice view of this. The garages at the hospital are free and open and the top floor is usually at least half empty.

Expanding on what Myghost said. The classic Raleigh skyline view, and the one you posted is taken from the red blob. Also, along the red line is good for different perspectives especially if you have an drone otherwise you need to find a high point or will have trees in the way.

The blue circled area can also deliver good shots IMO, especially earlier in the day and you can also pick up North Hills in the distance in some areas near there but also drone will help there tremendously.
