Hi - does anyone know how strict PNC is on their small bag policy. They allow only a wristlet or small wallet/bag with dimensions of 4.5 x 6.5. That barely holds a phone. :-)

Wondering if they are super strict or if you are slightly over (such as 4x7) if you can get by. Thanks.

They're not out there with a ruler, so as long as you're close you should be fine. We were just there yesterday and had no issues. My wife's phone/wallet bag is a little bigger than that and she made it through fine. My father-in-law had an even bigger bag (still just handheld, nothing crazy) and was held up briefly as they looked through it, but they let him in. He is diabetic though and carries food/supplies in his bag, so I don't know if the medical aspect gave him a little more leeway than normal.

4.5 x 6.5....
Doesn't say how thick. I just got a little cross body bag for my wife that is 4.5 x 6.5 and about 2.5" thick so it will hold a bit more.

And, I wouldn't hesitate to carry a 4x7. I just got a new phone case, and it is almost 7.5" long. I'm not worried.

Some of the security folks will walk around with a paper template to hold up to the bag. Well, more like near the bag.

Yeah, every concert or game they see probably 10,000 purses... They know full well what size is acceptable just visually with that much practice.
