Hi, anyone know where I can find a pink weeping cherry tree (seedling or small tree) in or near Raleigh? I'd rather not have to go from one garden center to another if I know where to look.
Broadwell's nursery in Angier is a good place to try... may want to call first and see if they have them.
~21 miles from Raleigh but well worth the trip... very good prices on a great variety of plants .

State Farmer's Market ? At least you can shop several vendors at one place.
I got a very nice weeping peach tree there a couple years ago. It looks great now.
Try Homewood nursery. If they don't have them, ask when they will. They only bring in stuff when it's the optimum time to plant it. (Most knowledgeable, helpful staff we've ever encountered at a nursery.)
Also, if you live in an HOA, you might want to check that's it's a permissible landscape. Weeping willows do turn up on no-no lists. (Readers, Please don't go off and hi-jack the thread with anti-HOA rants.)
I called Broadwell's nursery and they had them (in both white and pink) so I went and picked one up. It was only $40 which was a fraction of the price that a nursery in Raleigh was selling them for. My mama is happy.
