Tremaine Mason, 34, of Durham, and Deion Liles, 28,
One guy charged with 50 burglaries, the other is still in the hospital. I can't believe they knocked off 50 houses before getting caught. No cameras got pics of these two or their getaway car? Once the cops get their cell phones they will be able to likely charge them with more burglaries when their phones show up as being in an area for certain periods.
With the average home burglary take being $2,416 and taking about 12 minutes each, this guy was making over $14,000 an hour (tax free) ... Nice work if you can get it.
He should have invested in some advanced driver training skills though, he might have been able to get away from the police without crashing.

From what I’ve seen They usually wear a mask and/or a tight hoodie, all dark gray or black, and they wear gloves. A few years ago I saw one of them walk down between houses in my neighborhood when they were out just checking cars and I couldn’t have told you anything about the person because every bit of their skin was covered.
One issue with this is many Indians are not gun owners. Actually, the majority of Asians (including southeast Asians/Indians here) are NOT gun owners. Maybe these criminals know this?
That may be true, but on the flip side, I would imagine that particular tech-adapt area would have security camera usage that is way above average. So they are overconfident about not getting caught given that likely dynamic.
According to Post #13, it looks like someone may be getting caught!
Sounds like the feds need to get involved if non-citizens are using loopholes to travel for the sole purpose of committing felonies against US citizens...
Makes me very glad to have a doorbell cam, and I'm also more aware of pulling in or out of the garage. Of course there is a risk of crime anywhere at any time, it just seems that level has risen lately everywhere.
