Udipi is fabulous Vegetarian place in Cary. Most of the Indian places we go, while not vegetarian per se, are vegetarian friendly with a good portion of their entrees being vegetarian!

Second the recommendation of Udupi (or Udipi). It's my go-to lunch place. Another is Neomonde. It's Lebanese and has the best Felafel in town. There's one in Raleigh off Hillsborough St (across from Meredith) and one off 54/Chapel Hill Rd in between Aviation and Airport.

Rosie's looks interesting, but it's mainly a take-away place (order the day before) rather than a restaurant.

There's always Irregardless. It was the original vegetarian restaurant of Raleigh - although they now serve meat dishes. It's on Morgan Street, just where it curves after you turn off Hillsborough St.

I'm a vegeterian and find great veggies in (gasp) Golden Corral.

Great brussels sprouts, squash, cauliflower, and broccoli.
