We usually go to the Durham Bulls game or Kookabooth Theatre for fire works after we BBQ or eat out.

Any suggestions or ideas for the 4th?

The Festival for the Eno is always a great time—tons of bands and crafts and food.

There used to be a 4th of July celebration at the Fairgrounds. Like a mini fair. Lots of stuff for the kids.

I haven't been in a few years so you may need to google it!

I love it when people try to make the argument that there is no parking downtown.

Oh no, here we go again, rehashing the criticism of moving the 4th of July festivities from Fairgrounds to Downtown. Please, let's stop.

I had no issues parking downtown last year, although we left before the fireworks. We really enjoyed our time down there (despite the heat). Got to see a good band (Hank Sinatra) and some wrestling. Very entertaining.
