I just bought a home out there and love the pools, walking trails, grocery store in the development, etc.

I was wondering what you folks that bought there think of the construction/quality of the homes gary has built.

Also, why don't they install rain gutters?
We were there 2 weeks back and when it rained, the water just poured off the roof and was soaking the brick, etc.
Water around a foundation is a homes worst enemy and it just surprised me!

Thanks in advance

Alot of builders in this area don't install gutters, saying we have so many trees that the gutters just stay full of pine needles, anyhow. It really is just one way that builders cut back.

I've had homes with gutters and without gutters and I would rather have them.

Since you have already closed on your home, it is too late to add gutters to your contract but would the builder come back, do it now and you could pay him? If not, there are companies that will install gutters. Most home inspectors recommend them. And if I were to get gutters now, I'd have gutter guards installed, as well.
