I'm looking to buy a bed frame. Rod Iron particularly. I dont want to spend a ton but I do want something nice. Where are the good furniture stores in the area. I'm from Morrisville.

Come down to furniture row in Raleigh (Glenwood Ave/Rte 70). There are dozens of stores to choose from, like Haverty's, Ethan Allen, Roomstore, etc.

You could check out Home Comfort furniture in Cary. They have stores in Raleigh as well.

I second the idea of hitting Glendwood Avenue in Raleigh. THere are furniture stores all over the place. For what it's woth, my wife and I get a great iron bed frame for our guest bedroom from Ethan Allen in Raleigh 2 years ago. Best part about it was that the delivery was free (this was back in 2005). I would check into that as it was a big plus for us.

There is also a great shop in Cary called Consigning Design. You can get beautiful second-hand items in brand new condition. There is also a website that you'll find if you google the terms above. I'm not sure if there is any wrought iron available now but you can email them and let them know what you want and they will get back to you. They returned my email a day later and had exactly what I needed for a guest room.

Boyle's is great, also, especially when it comes to competitive pricing. They have been so helpful since I moved here, although I also bought from them when living out of state.

Good luck with your search!
