My wife and I purchased a new standard pacific house almost 3 years ago and it is falling apart from the inside out. Does anyone know a good dry wall person to repair cracks, nail pops and separation in the dry wall? I want a pro as I don't want to have to do this again in 3 years.

Do you have any diagonal cracking or is it all horizontal and vertical?

Most are vertical with some being diagonal around an archway.

Be sure your foundation's not the cause. As sacredgrooves may have been checking, a lot of these problems trace back to soil subsidence and won't be cured by cosmetic repairs.

Drywall Settlement Crack Repair
The drywall cracks are caused by movement in the foundation or structure of the home. Unfortunately even an expensive foundation repair doesn't always solve the problem. The best you can hope for is to have the repairs done by a professional drywall repair man that does the work properly and hopefully most of them will not come back. There are things the drywall man can do to help prevent the return of cracks but no guarantee's. Every few years or so you may have to have the work redone.

Drywall Cracks
I forgot to mention that the drywall cracks could be the result of a poor drywall job when the house was constructed. If the cracks are mainly where the drywall went together originally (joints) it is possible that the cracks are the result of poor workmanship. These joints can be rescrewed and refinished and are much less likely to come back than settlement cracks. Any problem, poorly finished joints, nail pop, loose drywall tape or loose and cracking metal corners can be repaired like new.
