Does anyone know how to search for new construction? I've been searching the mls for some time now and I'd like to do a search for just new construction to see what's out there.

Also, has anyone heard anything about Chelsea Meadows in Chapel Hill, or any other new construction in Chapel Hill?

Thanks.

AFAIK Chelsea Meadows is Durham...assuming you are talking about the M/I Homes community, but I thought they were pretty much sold out...unless there are two Chelsea Meadows....

And as far as the new homes issue, any search site of MLS should have an age option - if you search years 2007-2008 you should get mostly new homes. When you pull up a home on the site I use, Fonville Morisey, it says "New Construction?" Y/N and gives an answer for each home.

EDIT - Just looked up Chelsea Meadows and it looks like they have a phase 2 starting now! (but it's still in Durham )

If you use Fonville Morisey's property search, you can click on "search new or under construction" on the right hand side of the page.

That's how I did our searches in the spring when we were looking for new construction.
