Where did the onion bagels go? (Cary: lenders, house, store)

Ok I never would have imagined that we would move here and not be able to find my childrens favorite breakfast bagel ..Are onion bagels that strange. I know you can get those frozen lenders ones but they are not so good. Im talking about a Thomas' or any other brand in the bread aisle? Is this a New england thing? Dunkin donuts sells onion bagels but Im not a big fan of their. I just find it rather strange that of all the flavors every store I go in...and I have checked alot of places .. I cant find an Onion bagel...

When I get a craving for bagels, I go to Manhattan Bagel at High House and Cary Pkwy next to Mr. Toads. I haven't been there for a while now, but I'm pretty sure they had onion bagels when I last went.

In Walmart in the dairy section by the cream cheese, Lenders has much better bagels- the onion ones are pretty good. They are not the frozen kind. Try those. There are some Brueggers Bagels around if you like those kind.

Brueggers is very close to NYC quality and they offer onion.

NY Bagel on Falls even has bialys.
