Can anyone recommend a great relocation spcialist/realtor? Someone that is nice and efficient and knows everything about the Raleigh area because they have "lived" there. I am relocating to Raleigh next Summer maybe sooner. I need someone to get started right away. You can see my post under manderlyles. Thanks I appreciate it!

While I do suggest you hook yourself up with a good realtor to learn more about the local RE market and how the purchase process work here in the Triangle, I think in addition to that this board can be an excellent source of relocation information when it comes to things like jobs, schools, good places to eat and go out ect..... I would fire away with your general relocation questions here. It is amazing how much good information is shared on this forum.

Hate to piggyback, but I'd also like a recommendation as well if anyone would like to direct message me.

Thanks

Just a heads-up - if you come across something called the "Relocation Guide", don't waste your time. They present themselves as a magazine, but when you sign up, they just sell your info to a bunch of people and you get bombarded with emails, letters, and phone calls. You never get the magazine.

There are some active agents on this forum - you might try contacting one of them directly.

I used to work for a large Relocation Company in the area and realize how hard relocations can be. The Relocation Guide is a good source of information but it is all advertisements and should not be regarded as the only source of info.

Good Luck.
