I've been to Home Depot and Lowes, but I was wondering if there were any other hardware or lumber places that carry vintage style porch rails/balustrades for our front porch? I have found the following at the forementioned places:

But we really do not want this particular style. We have a 1920's home, and we are looking for more vintage.

We would be open to a composite, but not a vinyl. However, we're looking for someone local where I can find such things. Unless the only way we'll be able to get this done is if we build it from scratch ourselves, we would still need to find something more than just the two big chains.

Anyway, if anyone can guide us to a location where we can find such things for vintage homes, even if there exists a place that has old railings salvaged from old homes, I'd be open to that to. Many thanks!

Stock Building Supply--Although they sell new stuff, they have access to whatever is out there

Capital City Lumber near the NC State Fairgrounds.

What you are really looking for in a 1920's home is a good carpenter who can create the profiles you seek.
You might find a good profile at the Habitat for Humanity ReUse Center, and ask a carpenter to match it.

I found Builder's First Source in Apex, Hillsborough and Wake Forest, but what is Stock? Are these open to the public and not just contractors?
