There are no words to describe how much I worship David Sedaris. He is the greatest.

Anyway, there are many Triangle references/stories in his latest, When You Are Engulfed in Flames...

David Sedaris audiobooks make an extra-long holiday drive down I-95 enjoyable! Thanks to him, I survived traffic from NJ to Baltimore, then again just north of Richmond!

He tells a story of his time in a rooming house near a UNC parking lot - it is hysterical - I highly recommend...

I love him too! The recorded books are hysterical, especially since he reads them himself (they're available at Wake County libraries). There have been several times when I laughed so hard while driving that I almost had to pull over. Very entertaining!

Me too! This one is darker than some of the others have been, but I like it.

He'll actually be performing at the new Durham Performing Arts Center in April. You may want to check out their website for more details.

David Sedaris' books are great. I love that he talks about local places and I feel like I'm in France when he describes his experiences there.

I've seen him do live readings a couple of times, and he's wonderful in person! I highly recommend the April performance in Durham.

I've seen him read at Quail Ridge Books. It's safe to say he has a lot of fans in the area, so events do fill fast.
