I live in a 20 year old house in Cary and I have 2 or 3 windows that need replacing, including all new framing outside.

Who have you used? Were you happy with the service and price? Would you use them again?

Thanks in advance.

Window World Inc. http://www.windowworld.com. They replaced our windows in NH, and besides being very reasonably priced, their windows were awesome. Double hung, tilt in, argon gas, energy efficient. Really kept the cold air out. I really miss having nice windows like that. We didn't even get to enjoy them very long, as we sold our house and moved here. We have a brand new house now, but the windows are crap.

Default Window installation

Small business in Durham named Amevi Group, LLC. Doesn't charge as much as the bigger businesses, registered in NC and fully insured. (919)308-5025
Energy savings can be substantial!
Lottamoxie, Who did you use? Dinalkulp, what are you waiting on to replace yours?

We used Window World recently to replace all our windows - and we highly recommend them!

I haven't done it yet...My goal is to start end of March or April.

First up: I need to get over this bronchitis I've managed to acquire.

We used Clear Choice and were happy with them. We got 4 windows (two were VERY LARGE) with the argon gas done for $1100.
