Does anyone have any recent experience with a local contractor who they would like to recommend? We have seen quite a few so far, but no one that has done any major work. Please share any info./ experience with them...Thanks!

I have a friend that is a general contractor. Although I can vouch for him being a straight up honest guy, I've never done business with him, nor have I seen his work. We are in a social club together. If you would like his name, please PM me.

My mom has recently used a guy named Marty Graff for a major remodeling project and she just really, really liked him. He did a great job on her house and was MORE than patient with her as she changed her mind frequently about things. I'm planning to call him soon to look into some projects for us. I think he will also do a free consult.

thanks for the info. I have left my contact information with Blue Sky and will contact Marty also. As for Newuser's friend, thank you also, but I am looking for people who have done business with the contractors. Hopefully, we will find what we are looking for soon. Just checking out the contractors is a project in itself!
