Same here. I sold my condo in two? months, very quickly at any rate. There were at least half a dozen condos in the same location, same floorplan. We priced aggressively and were willing to compromise when the offer came in. Best advice is to make sure you price under what they are asking. Yes it devalues your house and neighborhood, but you are more likely to sell if you price aggressively.

The consensus it seems, would be to wait until one sells. I'm in no hurry and don't need to sell my house. Just looking for a change in my day to day routine. Thanks for the input so far.

I agree with Francois...however, 3 of my favorite neighbors have all put their homes on the market (3 houses in a row) as they've all grown out of their houses. A majority of the people in that cul de sac have been there for 10+ years they just couldn't put off an upgrade any longer. There's nothing wrong with the neighborhood...so don't immediately write off a house if the neighbors house if for sale too.

With the market as it is now it's very tempting to upgrade (assuming you're one of the lucky ones still employed)!
