(That are renovated and don't need a ton of work)

Look at MLS 32143 and 844577

I must have searched 10 towns to find just a couple like this!

The first one you posted is missing one number, but the second looks wonderful. You cannot find a house like that in wake forest in the historic section, they start in the mid 400's. I do like louisburg, nice small town!

I had seen that house in Louisberg (the second mls number) online a few months back. It is lovely! I briefly considered if our family could live in a small town. Plus you can't beat that price!! But alas I know I'm too much of an urban person to be able to live that far from a city center. But it is a true gem. And oh my gosh! That price!!!

Can you see you're making me have second thoughts again.

wow!, thanks for posting. I love small towns (within an hour os so of a big city).
This is right up my alley. What's so funny is that our master is painted that same color and out headboard is upholstered in the same color as the carpet. I as worried that it wouldn't be neutral enough, but it seems to show beautifully.
Now, I think I have a phone call to make.....

You could be in N raleigh for shopping in about 20 minutes from there. DT Raleigh is prolly more like 30-35 mins. It's about 15 minutes from 540 (I think?).

I so love historic homes like and I have considered it, too.

Hm, I c&p from realtor.com and it looks like they also changed realtors from Remax(?) to Ammons since the last time I looked at it. The photo has a timestamp of 9/06. So, it's been on for a while. I love both the houses but I think the towns may be too rural for me.

I don't know. There must be a typo. You can't search for it by MLS. It's in Sanford.

ok, thanks. The second one is down from 250k to 239k. If we could just get out there to visit the area first I might be seriously interested in that one.

Check out this one mls 864339. Incredible molding and trim...
