So what exactly does this mean? Where is TW Alexander getting extended to? Where can we find out what this $2.5 million project is going to entail - where it is going?

I'm curious too...I see the construction progressing each time I pass by. I hope it's an extension and not a shopping center...

Actually, I just did a little search. Appears that this will be heading from US 70 over to Leesville Rd.

Hopefully it is another way in and out of the new Best Buy shopping center! The main entrance to Brier Creek is just ridiculous and only going to get worse with Best Buy, etc.

That is going to be a mess! I went by the new BB yesterday and they had the front doors open with some people working in there. If you go out using the exit facing Walmart, you can only turn right and must also compete with everyone coming out of Walmart and making U-turns.

If you exit on the Glenwood side, then you must turn right and make a U-turn at T.W Alexander if you want to head back towards Raleigh.

I think there will be a lot of accidents in this area during peak busy times of the day after BB opens.

Or if you drive a truck you just drive over those U-Turn things like I do.

It is pretty crazy sometimes out that way, you just have to plan your attack on where you are going.

The TW extension has been being worked on for a while now.

So it's not going to Leesville Rd.? When I googled "tw alexander extension", some of the results suggested that the extension would be going to Leesville Rd, not Access Blvd.

If it helps with getting out of Brier Creek, that would be an improvement.
