Are they just converting elementary to year round??? If so, all these kids in elementary now will be going to middle and HS, down the line, arent's they going to face the same problems there?

It appears there is a lot of overcrowding in these schools too yet the focus "appears" to be on the lowel level schools, are any of the issues being address at the middle and HS levels?

They just built 2 new Highschools..... Panter Creek and Holly Springs High Schools. They hesitate to build those a little more because it's usually much harder to get the highschoolers to change schools; understandably. They are going to make 20 elementary schools year round for next year.

Not unless they make it a "modified" year round schedule, which they usually only do for individual high schools and not so much the elem. schools. Modified year round gets a 5 week summer, vs. regular year round schools getting 3 weeks, the same as they have after every 9 weeks of school.
