My son and I had a great time flying his kite near where we live in Cary but are looking for a place with more room and less tree so we don't lose another kite (long sad story)...any suggestions?

by the powerlines...at least that's what mom always told me.
But seriously, Lake Crabtree county park has a nice open field that would work nicely.

North Cary Park has a decent sized soccer field.

I haven't been there, but the soccer fields at Wake Med Soccer Park might work too.

Try Lake Crabtree or Crowder Park (off Hwy 55) - not that familiar with it but have heard quite a bit of talk.

Then why are people on here always telling a certain Cary supporter to go fly a kite?
