The new subscriber deal is $34.95/month for 12 months of Roadrunner High Speed (7Mbps download speed). After the first year it goes to $49.95 but I plan on negotiating at that point. I don't think I could live with any slower speed though - I'm a heavy internet user to say the least.
TWC is going to be implementing new pricing soon/download capping. Be careful. I just ditched TWC for DirecTV/Verizon DSL and couldn't be happier. TWC kept making me reset the modem when I tried to do a lot of torrents/uploads.
Verizon charged me for "extra" net services I didn't order or use and totally screwed up my bill for a LONG time and further their phone menu/cust service were absolutely horrific. I will never get anything from them again.
Time Warner - $125/mo for cable and internet. Our internet goes out pretty often for some dumb reason. About 5 of my neighbors don't password protect their wireless networks though. I wouldn't recommend that.

Earthlink is the bane of my existence. They have that thing where when someone e-mails you, they get a note that they have to fill out a form in order for it to go through. That's all well and good for the earthlink user, I'm sure.
But I'm in a job where I e-mail 100+ people per day. Most of them e-mailed me first and even to REPLY, I have to fill out that dang form. I think if they write me first, I should be allowed to reply without filling out the form. Grr, a pet peeve of mine.

I have a Roku box and watch TV streamed from Netflix while I work out. That adds up to at least five hours/week. If when TWC implements this type of pricing in the Raleigh area I'll be looking to switch providers immediately. The article mentions that Comcast's plan is for 250GB..40GB for $54.90/month seems ridiculously low!
What is my best option if I want to use the internet to download torrents and stream video? I plan on hooking my computer up to a projector and using it as a TV so I need fast enough speed to stream video.
