I love libraries, I love to be in them, I love to check out books, I love everything about them.
My question is: Since I am in Wake County, my physical address is Raleigh, but not in Raleigh, what Library can I use??? In San Diego County, you can go to any library in San Diego County, but is that how it is in Raleigh??
All libraries in Wake County are on a county-wide system, which has branches scattered around the county.
You get one card and can use any of the libraries in the entire county.
Same goes for most NC counties...libraries are run on a county-wide system. There are a few exceptions, (Chapel Hill runs their own library separate from Orange County), but they are rare.
From what I recall where you said you planned on living, Lizard, I think you'll be about halfway between the Southeast Regional Library in Garner, and the Fuquay-Varina Branch.

You can use any library in Wake County....it's a county library system....not the city of Raleigh's alone.
I might add that for the out of towners, if you forget laptop, you can go by one the Wake County Libraries and use the computers there...go to the info desk and request. Then you can get on the internets and do the Google.
