What is the building full of people who seem of many nationalities apparently selling things informally. Going to the produce place, there is the main building, then the plants. Walking forward there is an additional building that looks very chaotic of what appear to be immigrants selling various things. Anyone know?

are you talking about the building next to Super Sod, the building with the sign that says 'Welcome Drive In' (even though it's always blocked off)?

i think it's the produce building, technically.

Mike

I believe that's the wholesale building. They won't sell you one of anything, but if you want three cases, that's your place.

So how do people get to sell there? Why few tables or prices? For example we saw a Pakistani lady who wanted to sell us 3 big bulbs of garlic for 75 cents. It didn't look wholesale. Just wondering.

That is the wholesale building. Around the perimeter of the building are the wholesalers who will sell you a case of produce. At the center of the building are some tables where individuals sell their extras. For example, I buy a case of strawberries from a wholesaler but I only really wanted half a case, so then I go to those center tables to sell my extras.
