Default location

First, do you agree it is beautiful? I just love it when a totally unexpected plant just volunteers to be somewhere in the landscape and does so well.

It is the intersection of Carpenter Fire Station Road and Carpenter Morrisville Road.

I love it. I love unexpected plants like that and I also love that there are people out theree who apreciate the older side of Cary and make people realize that Cary is not a sea of beige, cookie cutter houses built in 2003.

Yes, it is a neat cactus. Easy to drive by if one is just looking for houses and not open to the unexpected.

This is my feeling exactly! I was just thinking how long will this cactus and home be allowed to stand and left alone, especially at this location. Just 2 months ago I drove thru the intersection of Kildaire Farm and Ten Ten which is close to my home and saw the last silo in my area (I know of) being torn down. Like my husband said, "why didn't they leave that as a landmark and build a rotary around it with Millpond being across the street from it?"
