We want to go to the beach this weekend. leave sat morning, come home monday morning. We kinda want to get a room within walking distance of the beach so we dont have to strap lil guy in the car every time we wanna see the water. Any ideas?? We live in east raleigh, anything within 3 hhours would be awesome, thx so much!!!

Try the Sheraton at Atlantic Beach. Nice hotel right on the water. Also check out The Seahawk and The Atlantis in Pine Knoll Shores. Should take you no more than 2:45 minutes from east Raleigh. Lots to do. Great seafood places all over the area. Beaufort is a great little coastal town. The Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores is very nice. Fort Macon is cool with a great public beach. It may be difficult to find a room as this is the peak season.

you should google them. they both probably have better rate than the Sheraton. The Atlantis is a pretty cool, unique 1960's hotel.
