Our church is in need of an experienced drummer for the praise and worship team.

Any recommendations on where to put the word out or look for someone who would be interested in that sort of thing?

You can post or even Private Message me.

I'm just curious. What is a praise and worship team?

(Church is so different these days.)

A praise and worship team is a group usually made up of keyboardists, guitar players and a drummer (and sometimes other instrumentalists) who typically perform more modern style music for the congregation to sing along to.

Or you could simply say they are a band who leads the congregation in a time of song. But "praise and worship" tends to indicate that the music is often more upbeat and celebratory.
