But Verizon would not allow me to change my plan from 900 minutes down to the emergency minutes.
No carrier would let you do that. You're effectively asking to get out of your monthly contract without paying the fee. When you are out of contract you can do anything you want. I know - I was sans contract for 3 years. "They were unwilling to negotiate". Well that's because you were being unreasonable.
I'll tell you from first hand experience with both services here, Verizon is 10x better in terms of coverage/quality of signal in North Carolina, pretty much all over the state. With some exceptions on 40, you cant go 15 miles on any highway without hitting a dead zone and dropping a call. If coverage area is your #1 deciding factor, hands down, Verizon is the way to go.
I luv t Mobile and hate verizon, but i understand what they arte saying. What do u mean wiggle room...i mean if everyone could do that when they wanted than there would be no need for contracts and phones would be off the hook expensive...u gotta think about there situation as well as ur own
and as for verizon being sooooo great....no... i work in wireless comm and t mobile is the best...there the largest cell company in the us...there in 23 diff countrys....yes on a nationwide scale verizon is bigger but u gotta look at the bigger picture...what if u wanted to travel...verizon will screw u on international rates...there custumer service is horrible...they screwed me for over 700 dollars...so dont just look at what all the hype is...its like all the bs with the iphone...thats like the wrost phone to ever be made...i mean for god sakes they couldnt send pic messages for like 4 years...and there still having problems...3 percent of the customers are iphone users and the iphone uses 50 percent of there network
