All the gas around here that I've found has ethanol (something like 10% in it,) and it's killing my fuel injectors in my 91 300ZX.

Does anybody know of any gas stations that sell gas without ethanol?

The closer to Apex the better, but I'm willing to travel for it!

AFAIK, there is no gasoline anywhere without ethanol any more.Maybe racing gasoline, but I doubt it. I have a similar problem with my 1991 boat. We are screwed by the government again!
Check for 10% ethanol stickers at Chevron and Gulf. These may be okay for you. Most use it now. (sob)

I noticed that BJs recently added the "may contain 10% Ethanol" stickers to their pumps. After being prodded by the Ethanol producers the EPA is considering raising the mix to 15% Ethanol. Its more fuzzy logic only the government likes - you get less energy for the same money.

Ethanol was mandated as a replacement to MTBE (I think that is the name). I think that MTBE had some adverse environmental reactions that resulted in it being discontinued.

I wasn't aware of any adverse effects of E10, I had heard E85 was in high enough concentration to cause issues though. It's been in gas up in Maryland for some time. There was similar concerns and debate about it when they made the switch. I guess it was making it into the water supply.

FWIW I haven't noticed any problems, but I don't have an older auto, I have a 2005. I guess I would rather have E10 gas than have MTBE in my drinking water.

What exactly did it do to your injectors? Overall they are a pretty cheap part. I got 4 of them for my car for ~120 dollars.

Yeah, E10 is bad for a lot of older cars. My injectors are going bad fairly quickly because of it, and at $130 each, that's not good.

Roger that, the hoses and seals of older vehicles are not designed for ETOH, it makes them swell and softens them. The energy of ETOH is lower per volume than gasoline so you will have a loss of economy. Yo will make the farmers happy, and that is why the government wants you to burn your food in your car.

Just to clarify ... E10 is 10% ethanol/90% gasoline, E15 is 15% ethanol/85% gasoline. Both "should" work in a normal car but concerns do exist.
E85 is 85% ethanol/15% gasoline. You do see this locally at a few stations. You should *not* use this fuel unless your vehicle supports "flex fuel".

Any new injectors should be able to handle it, unless you are replacing with a NOS injector. Do you have a turbo 300zx? I always liked those cars. Very nice styling.

I know a couple people that are converting to E85, I have a supercharged motor on my car so alcohol allows you to get more power out of the engine with proper tuning. (note NOT more power from the fuel per gallon, but more power per displacement)
