I would love to open a place like that myself but having no food business experience....not a good idea. I live in Apex and would love a place like that! I think though if you want to have the commuter folks somewhere along 55 might be good. Especially if you have good bagels!

Great idea! We are moving to Holly Springs in January. My husband loves your idea, he'd love to work for you!

I would vote for HS and Sunset Lake as well. I think that would be a strong breakfast (commuter) place, think bagels, egg sandwiches, etc. Not sure about the lunch crowd though. Not a lot of businesses in that area, the 55 location may be better for lunch.

Either way, I'd love a good deli for breakfast (must have taylor ham) and lunch (good corned beef).

You are mighty brave doing this in this economy I'm curious, have you owned a similar business before and in the triangle area, is that how you came up with your theme? BTW Fresh pastries sound wonderful! I'd have many concerns one being does the anchor store do well, will they be around for a few yrs? I'm not familiar with the area you are looking at as the last time I went over that side of town (I live in Ral) was yrs ago when it was barely built up.

Keep us updated, let us know when you open so we can come visit
