I'm looking to rent a house soon and for some of the properties, I wonder about the square footage of the house. I recall that a previous property management company was able to look this info up in some kind of records. I'm assuming these records are publicly accessible. Does anyone know exactly where I could find this record (if it exists). I've looked here already. Maybe I missed it somewhere?

On the Durham Tax Record site where you've looked, search for the property of interest. When the record comes up, click on the "Buildings" tab -- or other tabs -- for additional information.

GoMAPS - Durham County NC Public Access

Click on "address search" - it's on the right. Put in the # and street and click Search. A map will come up, and below it, the address. It says "tax card" or "tax information" or something like that toward the left on the same line as the address. Click on that.
Then you have some choices along the top, including Buildings.

One thing to note is that those records are not always accurate
