Hilton Durham near Duke University

3800 Hillsborough Rd
Durham, NC 27705
(919) 564-2900

I have an appointment at one of the Duke medical clinics tomorrow. Just made the decision to book a room and drive there this evening since the appt is so early.

Any thoughts on the above place? I'm doing this a bit backwards as I've already reserved the room. It was $45 for one night. Is that a good deal?

Thanks!

I stayed there a few years ago and had a nice stay. The staff was friendly and helpful.

I've stayed there and been to a wedding there... it's a nice place. No worries! It's a short drive to the hospital/clinic area.

You'll be fine there. I've used the hotel for overnight business guest when i had a tighter budget. It's a nice place. Be sure to let them know you are going to duke for treatment, many durham hotels offer a duke patient discount.
If you are going for med treatment rather than maybe an interview, I wish you well. You are in good hands over there!

I've paid around $40 the few times I've stayed there, so I think $45 is a fine deal (I always book on Priceline). I'd be pretty disappointed if I were paying full "Hilton" price for this place, but for 40 or 50 bucks, it's a perfectly acceptable place to stay.
