Does anyone have any experience with the Lifestyle Family Fitness in Cary? I am looking to join a new club and Lifestyle is the closest to where I live. Any info on joining fees and/or monthly rates would be great thanks.

IMO Lifetime Fitness blows it away and no contracts. It is also a very financially sound gym as well, so no worries about the doors closing unexpectedly. It cost a bit more than the others, but you get what you pay for. Single monthly rates are $60 IIRC, but no enrollment fees. The place is amazing!

I have been a member of both and am currently a member of Lifestyle Family Fitness in Apex. While it doesn't have all the bells and whistles of Lifetime it is the nicest health club i've been a member of at the price point i am paying ($35/mo.). If you swim or play basketball then Lifetime may suit your needs better but Lifestyle has everything i need, is kept up well and everyone is extremely welcoming there.

Thanks for the input.

Old Mortgate Guy, was there an "initial start up / enrollment fee" when you joined?

CoachJuice,
I went in with a one-week guest pass and at that time there was a $40-50 enrollment fee but as my pass was about to expire the manager called me for an end of month special and i think i paid like a $9 enrollment and only a $20 processing fee.

I joined Lifestyle last month and I like it. The monthly fee is around $52 or $35, depending on which package you pick.

They are still running the $9 enrollment fee, at least I heard it on the radio this morning.

anyone recently signed up for lifetime fitness? I was told members who sign up get a card that waves the 95 dollar activation fee for a guest? I am going to sign up and I thought if I could find a way to wave that fee itd be great and Id be willing to help someone else get that fee waved after I sign up.
