Hi everyone. Great source for information going on here. Speaking of information, where are the best last minute Christmas shopping deals to be had? One thing I am still looking to find are really nice cushy slippers, to keep my feet warm and cushion against my hardwood floors. I also want to find a comfortable love seat. Please feel free to use this thread to expose the best deals on anything you have found. Time is running out before the big day.
Maybe I should have clarified. I want new slippers and a new loveseat. I am not so much into used furniture. I find that quite gross, except for maybe wooden antique furniture. Anything I sit on or lay on must be new.

Something different and something cool and good to keep warm on wood floors is toe socks My problem is usually with hardwood floors but the exteremly cold bath room floors. If your getting for yourself, I would wait til after Christmas i'm sure they will be marked down
Lots of dollar stores have (cheap) slippers and also those comfy/warm socks. I saw some of each in Dollar General last week. I think the price for the slippers was around $6 - $8 on average and maybe $2 for the socks. I bet Big Lots would have them as well (and also have new/cheap loveseats) and you could also check Kmart, Walmart while you're at it. You can do searches online to cut down the driving around time and narrow down your store choices.
For a loveseat, just drive down Rt 70 between Durham and Glenwood - there are probably 1,000 love seats in the 40 or so furniture stores to choose from. Check the smaller places first before you head to a big chain like rooms to go or roomstore. If you buy right now off the floor you can likely haggle down about a third at most places.
Slippers - any department store? They also have a lot at the Totes outlet in the outlet mall on Aviation Pkwy.
I would love to get a really nice pair of slippers. Something high quality. I figure with stores discounting, I may be able to get something really good at a good price. I have a JC Penney $10 coupon just itching to get used, but it expires on the 24th.
I am not looking for cheap quality on anything. I am looking for top quality, at the cheapest price. I usually wait until this time of year to buy most of the things I want, because the deals are so good.
Brookstone has some really soft and warm fuzzy socks and slippers. They are really fluffy and comfy and warm!
