They have them at Food Lion's or any hispanic grocery worth their salt. Remember to not let the dough directly touch the press, use wax paper or saran wrap. I am guessing the WS ones are WAY more expensive than what most everyday tortilla makers use.
I got mine at the big hispanic market on Capital (forget the name) but I am sure there is a similar place in Durham.

I got one years ago from a Mexican "Tienda" in Sanford. Mine is wood, but works fine. $7. If you can't find a Tienda, then as others mentioned, some food lions are good. The one on Kildare and Maynard (Cary) has an AWESOME Mexican, and other international sectoin!
I ended up getting one at Pueblo Supermarket on North Market Drive in Durham, but it broke the first time I used it - hollow aluminum handle...going to try to exchange it (which may prove futile given the language barrier) for a cast iron one they had. I wasn't sure which one to get, and ended up purchasing the aluminum one because it was 8 inch compared to the cast iron 6.5 inch.
I should have mentioned this last night, but our friend who has taught us how to cook a lot of Mexican dishes (I was a chef at midscale and upscale Mexican Southwesterne restaurants for about 8 years) just uses the bottom of a smooth pot or pan to press them out. That is probably just as easy as using the press....
