I am asking if there are any stores that specialized in making a customized shoe and insole specicially for your foot. The store should do a computer scan of your feet than bild a shoe around a custom insole...I am not talking about Walmart's DR Scholls junk. The problem I have is that all shoes are made in other countries and as such they have always hurt my feet. I cant even wear New Balance and Nike are not much better...so is there anyplace in the area that specializes in this? TIA

Richey and Company shoes in Cameron Village....they do custom fittings. Have great people there that can help you and VERY well made shoes, but they can be pricey. Richey & Co. Shoes Pedorthic Footwear

It is where everyone i know that has foot issues gets fitted.

The Good Feet Store in Raleigh.

I can't wear New Balance or Nike either. I recently switched to an Adidas running shoe

Dick's Sporting Goods also has some great inexpensive insoles.

Thankyou this is exactly what I am looking for..its not so much that I have foot issues but shoe issues that cause the physical discomforts I experience. My feet are normal but todays shoes just dont cut it...been that way for over 10 yrs now...
