I'm not talking about those, I'm talking about the Food Lion(s) and the Lowes Food near the site mentioned, near Colonnade Dr. which is by Six Forks/Strickland. Is there another "Colonnade" I'm confusing it with?

Can't wait for the new Whole Foods to open. I think we make the commute to the one on Wade avenue twice a week. Harris Teeter is starting to carry some natural, hormone free beef and milk from local NC dairies which is nice.

Does anyone know if this Whole Foods will have a fresh food market (with a sit down area)?

I'm sure it will. Both in the Triangle have one, so I don't think it'll be any different.

There are four Whole Foods in the Triangle - one each in Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill and Cary. The new one in North Raleigh with be the 5th in the area. I have no idea if all four existing ones have sit-down areas, though.

^^
I drove by a few weeks ago. They have the building up and appear to be working on grading related to the parking lot. I wouldn't be surprised if the were open by Jan or Feb 2011.

Here are some pics from well over a month ago
