i like beer. i like lonerider beer. and i like a few of you, probably more of you after a beer or two...
(kidding, you've all been really great, from the time i started thinking of moving to Raleigh through my move and settling in, and even now that I feel really happy here)
Hey - If this thing happens at LoneRider maybe we can get NewUser to show up and give us a lesson on how to make beer!
1. Crush malted barley and add to mash tun
2. Add hot water to reach temperature of 150 F
3. Let stand for 1 hour
4. Drain mash tun and transfer wort to kettle
5. Boil for 1 hour. Add hops
6. Drain kettle and chill wort as it transfers to fermenter
7. Add yeast
8. Wait 3 weeks
9. Drink
Lonerider has organized tours that will go into much more detail.
There may be some "Shotgun Pils" left if we go early enough in April.

If it is before 21st April I would be available and look forward to meeting you all - after that I am busy for a couple of weeks and would miss out on the fun - well getting one of Loneriders 'beermats' anyway
I'm in, if it's within the ten days that I'm home. I prefer coffee.
