Airboat, I wish I could help you. I just live too far away from the Hills to recommend anything but tourist attractions. Just want you to know that we're all thinking about you though and praying for a safe trip for you and your family.

Try any of the hotels along LaCrosse Street just off I-90. There are some chains ones: Quality Inn, EconoLodge, AmericInn, etc. and there are some local ones: Dakota Pines Inn, Foothills Inn, Thunderbird Lodge. They're all very clean and near a lot of stores and restaurants.
