Agreed but he's not an owner and in his own words "Helping them sell to avoid foreclosure".

I'm sure there is more to his story which he did not give me.

This was my thinking to though I'm really not completely clear what the situation is here.

The article advertizes how they buy houses making me think it belongs to this company. His email I guess didn't sink in the first time I read it. I agree there is more to the story and without knowing it I can't say for sure he's doing anything wrong. You might report it to find out everything is fine. Why do some of you just look for people to nail?

Not me. I've never even thought about "nailing" someone. I did not post all of his emails but he's definitely a 3rd party with no ownership in the home. What caught my eye is he's advertising the home like an agent would with no notice of his Brokerage which is a no-no in TX.

There are enough dishonest people in the business that do need to be flushed out before they hurt innocent people. I would suspect if you were an average Joe who walked into his Open House you would think he's been trained on the legal process of buying a home and more importantly the agency relationship.

It wouldn't hurt for the state to decide his status.

I'm thinking that the "helpful" friend may not be in violation if he does not receive any compensation for his efforts. That obviously varies state by state.
