I had to have major back surgery during the process of selling my home. I was bed-bound during the inspection. I told the guy to just ignore me! I was plenty ticked off to hear the buyer's friend who came as buyer couldn't, tell him she wanted to make sure he didn't miss anything or tha I didn't try to put anything over on them. Wost home buy/sell experience, including the closing when we met.
We will have no issue with the seller being in their home while the inspection is being done because we do understand their concerns.
We however will not be inside the home during the inspection unless we are invited to join by the seller.

You've got it backwards.
It's YOUR inspection. YOU are paying for it and it's being done to protect YOU. Stay with the inspector regardless of what the seller does. It's a GREAT opportunity to learn about your potential new home.
