Any of you realtors know the answer to this question....National real estate review board and their recommendations, are they of value?

http://nrrb.org/buying-first-home/

I am looking for a listing agent up here in Md and doing online searches, over and over. A friend told me about the NRRB, and I messaged them and they recommended two agents, who on my own search had good reviews, however I also found a few others they didn't.

I've heard that some of these sites realtors have to pay to be listed by them....just wanted to know if you guys thought their recommendations hold any weight?

Thanks.

I've never heard of them, FWIW. They look like a paid referral company.

Ask the agents if they are paying a referral for your business. If so, judge for yourself whether it will impact their performance and/or ability to close a difficult deal.

I would tell you to drive around, see who is listing in your area, interview 3 or 4 and make your choice.

I've never heard of it, but it looks like a referral site to me.
